Our home is full of joy because of our beloved pets. We have a cheerful 5-pound Chihuahua named Frank who loves children and brings us endless happiness. Our three zebra finches fill the house with their songs and beauty. While our aquarium, home to lively zebra danios and curious mystery snails, adds a touch of calm.
Thank you for considering us as potential parents for your child. We are honored and grateful for your courage and love. We have dreamed of becoming parents and building a family together. Throughout our relationship, we’ve experienced a lot of love, support, and fun adventures that have brought us closer. We are excited to welcome a child into our lives and share with them the joy and love we have for each other.
When we welcome a child into our family, we plan to dedicate our time and energy to caring for them. We will use parental leave benefits to help with the transition for both us and the child. We are committed to having one of us stay at home to parent and provide constant care and support.
Adoption is our heartfelt choice to build a family because we believe that family is defined by love, not just biology. We are eager to share our lives, values, and traditions with a child. Our strong, supportive relationship and secure home provide a stable, nurturing environment where a child can thrive. Our hearts are full of love, and we want to share that love with a child, creating a bond that is just as strong as any biological connection.
Our warm and inviting three-bedroom, two-bathroom home is a place where everyone feels welcome. As you step inside, you’ll be greeted by a cozy living room filled with natural light, perfect for family movie nights or quiet reading afternoons. The kitchen, the heart of our home, is where we love to cook and share meals together, with plenty of space for baking cookies or trying out new recipes.
Our fenced-in backyard is a true haven. With a cozy fire pit, it’s the perfect spot for roasting marshmallows, sharing stories, and creating lasting memories. The yard is spacious enough for children to play freely and safely, and our garden is a source of endless joy. We grow fresh vegetables and raspberries. We maintain a beautiful pollinator garden that attracts butterflies, bees, birds, and other delightful critters.

Brittany likes planning social gatherings to connect with friends and family, thus creating memorable experiences. We host a group of our friends who get together for potlucks, often pairing the meal with a game or activity.
Brittany has a lot of hobbies, being especially drawn to art and citizen scientist initiatives. Nature is often the inspiration for her curiosity and artistic expression. Her creative side shines through her fiber art creations. She was thrilled to have her first solo exhibit in early 2024. She also enjoys birdwatching, getting lost in a good book, playing games, and spending time with our beloved dog, Frank.
Brittany is the kind of person who isn’t happy if she suspects someone is feeling left out or isn’t enjoying themselves. She has a natural way of engaging with even the most introverted and withdrawn people in ways that make them feel more comfortable. These skills will almost certainly be useful when our family expands to include a little human-in-training.
Will grew up in North Minneapolis, MN, and was the oldest of three siblings. He stays close with his family, and they support each other through tough times. Will loves science and is always curious about the world and the universe. He enjoys many hobbies, like biking to work when the weather is nice, baking tasty breakfast breads from our sourdough starter, and making small art projects through painting and sculpting. His creativity and problem-solving skills show in the unique projects he does, like building his own aquaponics system that works like a tiny ecosystem.
Will loves spending time with kids, helping them learn and grow through play and exploration. We are excited to share our love, creativity, and sense of adventure with a child, and he can’t wait to become a parent. I see Will as a kind, patient, and smart person. I love watching him play with our niece and nephews and our friends’ kids. He meets each child where they are with curiosity and playfulness. Kids are often drawn to Will because he is imaginative, willing to be silly, and tries to make them laugh. He enjoys learning and looks for ways to understand the world better, using his creativity and problem-solving skills to help his coworkers and friends.
Our journey began on the online dating site, OkCupid, where we discovered an easy connection and a wealth of shared interests. Our first date was at Can Can Wonderland in St. Paul, MN where we played minigolf and arcade games. We bonded over our love for books, creating a cozy book club of two where we took turns picking our next read.
In early 2020, as the world isolated into tiny social bubbles, we decided to move in together. Together, we navigated the uncertainties of the COVID-19 pandemic. We found strength and comfort in each other’s company. Our bond grew stronger, leading to our engagement and then our marriage. Our relationship is built on mutual support, understanding, and a shared sense of adventure.
We love having fun together, whether it’s solving virtual escape rooms, playing board games, or simply enjoying each other’s company. Our story is one of love, growth, and endless fun, and we can’t wait to share it with a child.
We commit to raising your child in a loving environment where they feel safe, understood, and supported. We will teach them compassion and curiosity, helping them to grow into caring individuals. We also promise to stay open, ensuring your child is connected to their roots. Additionally, we pledge to seek support when needed, ensuring we provide the best possible upbring for your child.
Thank you for considering us!
We believe in open adoption because it fosters a loving and transparent relationship, allowing our child to understand their roots and maintain a connection with their birth family.
In considering open adoption, we would like to have a relationship with the birth parent(s) and/or birth family. We will follow our child's lead, safety, and well-being. We would be open to in-person visits, photo sharing, and communicating milestones. Adoption comes with grief and loss and that there may be times when the birth family or the child will need to back away from the relationship for a time. If a birth parent(s) and/or birth family did not want an open relationship we would honor that decision and support a child by creating a Lifebook for the child.
