All About Tim & Angela

We hope this letter finds you well. First and foremost, we want to express our deepest gratitude for considering us as adoptive parents. We understand that this decision is not easy, and we admire your courage throughout this process.

We are Angela and Tim, a loving couple in our 30s. We both work with children for a living, and we are inspired by the joy, honesty, and ambition we see each day from the children in our lives. Our dream is to grow our family through adoption, and we will strive to provide our child with the support they need to achieve their dreams.

Why Adoption?

We both work as doctors, and our days are filled with the joy and laughter of children. Our shared passion for caring for kids has inspired us to open our hearts and home through adoption.

Family & Home

We live in a family-friendly, quiet, and diverse neighborhood nestled a few miles between downtown Saint Paul and Minneapolis. We enjoy going to live concerts, watching standup comedy, and trying new foods.

We grew up in hardworking families, and our parents (and grandparents) sacrificed a lot for us. Angela’s parents ran a small business, and Tim’s parents were teachers and child care providers. They taught us the importance of hard work and education, which still guide us today.

Our family is diverse. We love and celebrate many cultures, which makes our lives richer. We enjoy both old and new traditions. If you choose us, your child will be surrounded by love, understanding, and acceptance. We have a large network of friends, colleagues, and neighbors that we consider part of our family. We would be honored to welcome you and your child into our family.

How others describe me

Angela was born and raised in Los Angeles. She has 2 sisters, likes to read and journal, and enjoys cooking new types of cuisines. Tim describes Angela as caring, adventurous, and insightful.

Tim was born and raised in Saint Paul. He has 4 siblings, plays piano and writes music, and enjoys camping and fishing. Angela describes Tim as kind, optimistic, and well-rounded.

How We Met

We met in New York City where we attended school. Tim’s roommate had a crush on Angela, and Tim quickly realized why; Angela is adventurous and open to new experiences. She is insightful, thoughtful, and kind. Angela was drawn in by Tim’s skill at billiards, his karaoke rendition of Usher’s “Nice and Slow,” and a quick Google search showing that Tim was teaching free piano lessons to kids in his apartment. While we are from different backgrounds and life experiences, we share similar morals, life goals, and commitment to family.

Advice to Future Child

We will instill in our child the values of hard work to make the world a better place. We will support their passion so that they can achieve their dreams in life, whatever their dreams may be. We will work to support their sense of self and show them every day that they are loved and supported by friends and family.

Perspectives on Open Adoption

We understand that adoption is not often easy for the child and families involved, but we hope to provide our child with open and honest dialogue so that they have a full sense of self and know that they are fully loved and supported by their family and community. We are flexible and willing to support you, the birth parent, in whatever openness and support you need and can adjust with changes throughout time and circumstance.
